Businesses, governments, institutions and even citizens face the threat of cyber-attacks today. Internet security is a shared responsibility, cyber risk is increasingly becoming the top notion in the international agenda as high â€” profile breaches as fears increase that hackings and other failures could endanger the economies all over the world. Inapt cyber security risks the organisation to come under actions of law, negligence claims, loss of business operations which further leads to adverse effects of business client relationships. Lack of prevention in the web, information and cyber security front can lead to loss of public relations, effective operations and the increasing threat of extortion. Dangers again arise with the new advances in the innovation and technological solutions that the organisations apply in their daily operations. New and rising developments pave pathways for the crime to occur which further emphasis the ever-increasing need for the awareness of security. Mobile services and telecommunications are increasing to face the brunt of these issues. Increasing corporate and private mobile users expands the opportunity for the security measures to be breached. Coupled with the use of cloud storage and software the risk of embezzling critical information is at a greater risk.
AIWCS 2018 aims to explore the challenges and opportunities in the area of security for IT, Web and Cyber sector. It will highlight the recent developments in research areas such as protection, encryption, intelligence and countering methods.

Abstracts of about 300 words on any of the above topics are invited by the 31st August 2017. Upon review by the Technical Advisory Panel, notification will be given by the 25th September 2017.
